Japan national team is one of successful national teams. It has won five AFC Asian Cups in 1992, 2000, 2004 and 2011, becoming the only team to get four titles of the competition. What’s more, the squad has been qualified for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, and will meet Poland, Colombia, Senegal national teams at Group H. The World Cup will be held in 11 cities of Russia from June 14 to July 15, 2018. The Japan team is expected to play well this time.
To support and help the team perform well in the 2015 AFC Asian Cup, Adidas and the JFA officially unveiled the home shirt 2015.
Like the 2014 World Cup jersey, the brand new football shirt also features a pink stripe at the back of the shirt, showing the relationship between players and fans and the strong desire to win. When national team players form a circle, these stripes will form a bigger circle.
The 2015 home shirt is samurai blue that represents victory. Adidas logo and the team badge are printed on the chest. There is a small Japan national flag over the badge and “Japan” under the badge paying tribute to the country. In addition, the 11 white stripes around the badge symbolize players running at football fields. Most noticeably, the champions badge of the AFC Asian Cup is proudly shown on the chest. The numbers and names of players are all printed in gold, which symbolizes the pride and power of the team.
